HOGOKI

守護者

A domain with a story

The fox that keeps watch.

Hogoki (守護者) means Protector, or Guardian. Born from a song, raised by a neighborhood, and kept safe by its Kitsune. Now it is ready for its next keeper.

Original mark · Kitsune

01Origin

It began with How the Gods Kill.

The name Hogoki came to its owner while listening to Danzig's "How the Gods Kill." In that heavy, slow-building song, a word took shape: a guardian, something that stands watch.

The domain was registered and then sat quietly for a couple of years, waiting for a purpose.

02The Watch · Bay Area

For three years, the fox watched over a neighborhood.

03The Kitsune

A fox, a symbol of protection.

In Japan, the Kitsune guards shrines and the people who come to them. The original Hogoki marks were kept for that reason: the fox and the name, 守護者, say the same thing.
